Your gift to Kids & Horses directly supports our therapeutic riding programs and operations. Every gift, no matter the size, no matter whether it's designated for rider scholarships, programs, operating expenses, can make an impact on the lives of our riders and their families.
Kids & Horses has been responding to the needs of people with disabilities for more than a decade. The demand for our therapy services and the opportunity to serve our community continues to grow each year. We keep our rider fees affordable, subsidizing each rider and offering scholarships to families and individuals who demonstrate the need for assistance.
Kids & Horses' ability to fulfill our mission, meet the growing demand for our services, and expand our outreach into the community is dependent on raising charitable gifts of all sizes. We thank you for considering a donation to Kids & Horses!
Ways to give
“Ranch Hand” monies help keep the lights on and the horses fed. Kids & Horses also depends on this fund to underwrite financial aid to riders, purchase new or special equipment, horse supplies, staff salaries and routine maintenance to ensure safe, effective, and quality horse-related programs.
- Your gift of $15 pays for an hour of one of our instructor’s time
- Your gift of $25 pays for the cost to students’ families for one equine-assisted therapeutic riding lesson
- Your gift of $100 pays for the true cost to Kids & Horses of one equine-assisted therapeutic session
- Your gift of $500 pays for our telephone and Internet bills for a year
- Your gift of $1,000 pays for horse feed and supplements for a month
- Your gift of $1,500 pays for a month of boarding for program horses
- Your gift of $4,000 pays for hay for the year
- Or give whatever other amount you feel comfortable giving to the "Helping Hands" Fund.

Tribute and Memorial Gift Program
Kids & Horses' Tribute and Memorial Gift Program is the perfect way to honor a significant event in someone's life or show them you are thinking about them at the time of their loss of a loved one, friend, colleague or pet.
Tribute and memorial gifts support Kids & Horses’ mission of improving the lives of people with disabilities through our horse-related therapeutic programs.
We will contact you after you make your donation to get the name and contact information of whom to notify about your tribute or memorial gift.

Lead Rider Level $5,000
Your gift of $5,000 covers all direct and indirect costs of instructing one student for a year in equine-assisted therapeutic riding lessons.
Buckaroo Level $1,000
Your gift of $1,000 will help support the cost to one student’s family who cannot afford the cost of equine-assisted therapeutic lessons for one year.
Wrangler Level $500
Your gift of $500 will sponsor the cost of the salary of the PATH certified instructor to teach equine-assisted therapeutic riding to one student for one year.

Your gift of $10,000 covers all direct and indirect costs of feed, board and care for one therapy horse for one year.
Yearling Level $5,000
Your gift of $5,000 will help support the board and care of one therapy horse for one year.
Foal Level $2,500
Your gift of $2,500 will sponsor the feed and bedding of one therapy horse for one year.
Other Levels
I do not wish to sponsor a specific horse but I would like my contribution to be applied to the care of Kids & Horses horses.

Horse Donations: All horses at Kids & Horses are leased to Kids & Horses by the horse’s owner. Kids & Horses is always looking for short, calm, safe and trained horses.
