Introduction to Horses

Ages 5-18 This course covers the basics in horse management from horse etiquette to hands on grooming. Students will visit horses while learning colors & markings. Time will be spent in the tack room learning English and western tack. A strong emphasis will be placed on safety around horses. Students will have the opportunity to ride on the last day of the session. Students under the age of 9yrs or with special needs must have parent or guardian supervision at class. All parents are encouraged to attend with their child. Students should wear pants, sleeved shirt, and closed toe shoes. Limited space is available Instructor: Cynthia Valentine
